first_imgSign up for our COVID-19 newsletter to stay up-to-date on the latest coronavirus news throughout New York A gunman sexually assaulted a 21-year-old woman in West Hempstead early Tuesday morning, Nassau County police said.The attacker was armed with a handgun when he approached the victim on Terminal Road, drove her to an unknown location and sexually assaulted her at 4 a.m., police said.The suspect fled scene on foot in an unknown direction. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.Special Victims Squad detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to call them at 516-573-4022.
